about Jlodge

High quality specialty coffee from around the world is carefully roasted to highlight the different flavors found in different varieties. As the head roaster, I love the process of roasting, cupping and brewing coffee in various ways to bring the flavors to their peak. I have been roasting for more than 12 years and have studied under some of the best roasters in the world.

We are a small shop and are considered to be a ‘micro artisan roaster.’ This allows me to spend time perfecting each type of coffee we carry. Our prices are the lowest you will find for this high level of specialty grade coffee.

But Jlodge is more than a coffee roastery. The main point for us are the customers who come to hang out with us, enjoy our coffee and the homemade desserts, refreshing smoothies and the many other things we serve.

We have created a culture of community where we all know and support one another. It is a place to make friends you would probably never meet in other places.

But - Jlodge is more than a coffee shop!

Our famous smoothies and teas and many other drinks are waiting for you! And, if you are hungry you can try our famous Pizza Toast Deluxe or maybe French Sticks with Ice Cream will hit the spot!

We always seek to roast beans from different places in ways that will highlight the unique and special flavors of those beans.

Our passion for roasting and brewing the highest quality coffee is inspired by our love for God who created the coffee plants and by our respect for all those who have worked so hard to grow, harvest and process the green coffee beans. All of the work from farm to cup is done by craftsmen and women so that you can relax and enjoy the unique flavors that coffee has to offer.

We still have a lot to learn. But as we learn we are striving to be among the best coffee shops in Japan. We hope you will join us in our journey into excellence!
